Welcome to The Drive

Some of you may be too young to remember the Diana Ross song, “Do you Know Where You’re Going To?” The song’s title asks a question that serves as a reminder to many of us. If you’ve lost your way, then this question is really important because you may need a way to navigate known and unknown worlds.  Sometimes those who have arrived at certain destinations can help guide you.  Knowing when to stick to the road or explore the beaten path involves make informed decisions.  That’s where The Drive student blog can help.

This blog was created to help college students share information and ideas. What’s going on in your college community? What do you know about applying for graduate school? Are there more advantages to two-year colleges or four-year colleges? What’s happening in the world of music, gaming, literature and politics? Need an internship? A scholarship? The Drive is space for you to trace your path and draw the map you need to make decisions.

If you are a community college, four-year college, or graduate student enrolled in a Chicago or north-west Indiana college or university, you can write for The Drive. University instructors and staff are encouraged to share.  All are welcomed. Subscribe to the drive!
